Prior to the release of the trailer, The iconic actor told Entertainment Weekly that he channelled his character from the Bad Boys series and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air to create the character of Genie.
Directed by the always controversial Guy Ritchie, the studio’s live-action remake of “Aladdin”. The upcoming adaptation stars Smith as the Genie, Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine, and Marwan Kenzari as the evil Jafar.
