The Kingsman franchise seemed to be influx after an underwhelming performance at the box office alongside the Fox and Disney merger and it seems we have an update, albeit a minor one.

The next Kingsman film, a prequel rumoured to be titled The Great Game, has been pushed from it’s original November 8, 2019 release. It will now hit theatres a few months later on February 14, 2020, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Rumours have suggested that Fox’s untitled Ford vs. Ferrari film is taking the November slot.

Vaughn is currently filming the prequel film with very sparse information coming besides it is set to take place during WWI.The Great Game has quite the impressive cast with the likes of Ralph Fiennes, Charles Dance, and Rhys Ifans set to star. Rounding out the star-studded cast includes the likes of Matthew Goode, Daniel Bruhl, and newcomer Harris Dickinson.

Vaughn already has plans for the Kingsman universe with a true follow-up to 2017’s The Golden Circle already written. It is reported that the film start production shortly after he wraps on the prequel in the later parts of 2019. Vaughn has described Kingsman 3 as “the conclusion of the Harry Hart–Eggsy relationship.”
